Started SuperCmore yesterday to mow around my sunflowers and it "surges" or "hunts" up to about 3/4 throttle. At 3/4 or full, runs fine, but "hunts" when slowed down. Whats Cmore's problem, weak govenor spring, or can a carb adj. help with this? Thanks, Cmore

I've seen a crab cause that type of problem and also a gov. So it could be either one. I start at the carb because its the one that is cheaper/easier to try. Make sure your getting gas to it and if it has an adjustable main jet pull it out and make sure gas will flow out of it since if its thew carb that is where it will be. Had that happen not to long ago on one and it was dirt in the mani jet and all I did was spray it out a couple times with carb cleaner

Cmore, It sounds like the govenor to me. Try taking that acorn nut off the bottom of the govenor and try putting more tension on the internal spring by turning the screw clockwise.
Then see what happens.
