I am most of the way done with the restoration of my dad's A and thought a mid mount sickle mower would really set the tractor off at shows. I might try to have a little fun cutting weeds also.

Anyway.....I rarely see them come up for sale; either because they are a dime a dozen or they are rare. Are they really that rare? I am in SE Mich and would like to find one fairly close.

There like anything else, if you look around you will find one. I have a rear mount 16A mower for my 42 A, I redid it a few years back. It worked good, and I had a spare one for parts that I ended giving away, guy from Ny picked it up. You might place an add in the classifieds section on this site, it works quite well for locating old parts and equipment !
