1959 IH 460 utility has an oil leak at the rear axel. How hard is it to change the seal, and any help on the steps to change it would be appreciated.

I changed the rear axle seal on my 340 Utility for the same reason. I was able to obtain a replacement seal from my local NAPA dealer. Worst part of the job was wrestling off/on the tire. Remove the hub (3/4 bolt I believe) then the carrier flange (4 bolts). Be careful reinstalling the new seal - because it is large it is easy to deform. I made my own replacement gasket for the carrier flange. It hasn"t dripped oil since.
