does anyone know the chances of being able to put a chevy v6 in a f-12 i thought i could sinsce my uncle put a 357 in a f20 thanks

You could but it would be a waste of time and money. It would be a shame to see an F12 or F20 ruined with a common and uninteresting automotive engine.

Use the Chevy bell housing, it will simplify everything. I have one with a Chevy straight six and it was an easy conversion done in the late "50"s.

Here is a 2.8 chevy in a Farmall H. I believe it has a 4-speed transmission in the bellhousing that it locked in 2nd or 3rd gear to get the proper reduction so the V-6 can run fast enough to have some power...

Every swap is possible with enough time money and engineering. With a governor, and rational design of a bellhousing it would be a nice unit. I like "improved machines" JimN
