My Hydraulics have just started to let down after sitting so I am assuming I need to rebuild the check valve. Has anyone done this? Is there a kit or do I just go to my local CNH dealer and get the parts?
Bad timing, I need the tractor this weekend...

You refer to a check valve and I assume that is what I know as the safety block which is the inside, rear unit mounted on the reservoir. I do not think that is your problem, as on my 300u the safety block only regulates the pressure from the pump.
It is my guess your cylinders are leaking or the control valve for the cylinders are leaking. They are not difficult to rebuild except getting the garder spring on in the control valve can be a bugger (that is what kicks the lever back to neutral after activating the cylinder).
I got all the parts I needed, except a couple gaskets which were not hard to make, at a local hydraulic shop. There are a fist full of O rings involved if you go through everything.

Well, yes, no problem cutting with the sickle but if I rake or bale I use a drawbar mounted in the fast hitch which if it leaks down changes the position of the hitch. I will likely use another tractor for that this weekend but I like it better when things work the way they should. I can compensate but my wife isn't as savvy so it's harder if she's using the 300 ( her favorite tractor).

Can you not use it with the hydraulics leaking off a little?
