These units have two problems Fuel and Spark. If there is no spark, it needs the mag system replaced or adjusted. If it is the fuel there are two issues, the fuel lines rot to look like black goo, and the diaphram needles wear and fail to control the amount of fuel entering the engine. Both are fixable with a carb kit, and or new vinyl tubes. Fix the one with the best compression!!. JimN

I don't know, which one?

In 1971 we had a Case SC2 and bought another for $100 for parts. Dealer said a farmer traded it in and said it only needed the magneto fixed. We swapped magnetos and found the parts tractor to be in much better shape than the first one. Which one should we have used?
