My SC has developed an intermitten klunk when rolling, I can't seem to determine if it comes from front or rear but being under power doesn't seem to matter. This winter went through motor, brakes, and new clutch.I've noticed the bolster is leaking oil,but i took the load off and can't feelany slop. Any ideas what to do next?

Loose lug nuts can make a guy think his tractor is ready for the scrap heap.

Jack the tractor up, & roll the wheels slowly & listen for any noises & where they come from. Same for front wheels. If nothing found, block the clutch forward,& put the transmission in gear & roll the rear wheels while listening for noise. On our 450, a broken brake return spring occasionally got wedged between the brake housing & movable disc, & made noise bad enough that we thought it was an axle bearing. We even pulled the axle & checked the bearings before finding the spring. Might save you some time & trouble.

Have you check the lug nuts that clamp those wheels? Hal
