I am makeing new wires for my headlights on my M. I am wondering if the 2 wires from each light joined at the head light bar or if they ran 2 down to the switch. Thanks Paul

One wire per light goes to ground. Join the other two to a common wire to switch. From Swithch run wire to battery terminal or to light lug of voltage regulator.

Farmall M and H headlights are grounded to the headlight bar. There are no ground wires.

This one happens to be a 39 so the reflector is grounded via a small screw in the rim of the light. Thanks for the input about just running 1 wire down. Paul

I'm pretty sure thay are soldered together inside the bar, only one wire runs down to the box.
