For all you red power guys, I talked to the Meisners this morning,and they are aware of the board being down. I cant say the reason its down,but they are hoping to have it back open quickly.It may take a few days,but maybe as early as later today,they just dont know yet. Dont worry the board will be back one way or another.

I am already signed up there. Kim set it up awhile back, but the YTMAG regulars don't like it, so it doesn't get used much. Might be a good place for RED POWER GUYS to hide out for awhile. I like it better than this format. Gene

Thanks Kristen, it really had me nervious thursday night when I went to check my PMs and couldnt get there. Hope everything comes back soon. I doubt that rick took the money and ran, he seems like a good guy from what I've talked to him and I'm sure he hasnt left for good.

Had to add a little to my handle also, I think that I signed up here as the fireman a few years ago but now I cant remember the password I used.

i'm here and going thur with draws too. but i have not been on the computer that much because i'm busy getting sleighs ready for next winters cat train tour season. southern belle and i have been thinking of getting our BB going so we can enjoy IH cats, regulars cats and everything else we do in the KINGDOM.

I agree, Paul. I was a real regular here five years ago, found RPM forum and it kind of grew on me, I found I did not have time to look at all the sites so just got to sticking with the RPM site exclusively. This site is a good one, too. Just not what I have grown used to is all.

Yes, there is alot of info here too, but it's a real pain in the a$$ trying to fing the new posts without going through and reading all of the dates. Plus the fact that an active thread could be multiple pages into the system. FD

Thanks for the update on the board issue Kristen. I've been having withdrawal without my RPF!

On a side note - Mrs. waterpourer and I were at the Western Sweep Grand Nationals in Hinton last night. IH kicked a$$ all night long!

Shoot, I saw you all night long - first when you were working the track in the maintainer and then when you where pulling broken green tractors off the track with your 14.

Mrs. waterpourer and I were on the bleachers right at the 300' mark. We had a great spot. Later on in the evening, we went down through the pits looking for you but we never could find you. We did come across your 14 on the way in earlier and I figured it was yours.

You would think with cell phones today you could get in touch with about anyone anywhere. Do you think maybe Rick doesn't have a cell??? This might be a reason for the Meisners and Rick to give serious thought to having a "second in command" person in cases like this.

Understand Blaine, and agree on the cell thing and that was why I was wondering if Rick has one. Lots of people around here don't have them either.Also, not faulting Rick at all, just asking questions.The thought being was maybe they should have someone that could step in as a webmaster to keep the web up and running if there is a problem like now.This is not to suggest additional "moderators" to monotor the posts as this problem doesn't appear to be one of that nature.

Some guys have been getting together on the newagtalk board. Can't wait for the board to get back up! Tractor_boy & I are going to look at that 706 gasser tomorrow. Will let you know how it goes.

Tony, I can't answer for anyone else than me, but for one thing this board is up and operating whereas RPF isn't. That in my mind makes it better at the moment simply because this exists, and that we have good people like Kristin that has taken the time and gone to the trouble to let us know what is going on. Sure beats setting at the computer wondering what the heck is going on doesn't it???? :-)

Kristin thanks a lot for this information as we can relax somewhat now. I don't remember the board ever being down like this before so it must be something serious like Blaine said. It did however point out something such as, there is another place we can come to in a pinch if we need to. It may or may not be as good as RPF, certaqinly not for me to say as this is the first time I have had a reason to check in here, but it sure is better than setting there wondering.
