I am trying to remove a (Woods) belt pulley from my A. I did this one like I had done Cubs in the past. I removed the 3 bolts, and inserted them into the holes on the retaining disk, or whatever you call it. I tried to work them in, but instead of losening the pulley, it split the keeper and now my pulley is still there, but I have no way of remowing this keeper, any suggestions on how to get this pulley off?

Jesse, I would soak the tapered bushing with penetrating oil. I have taken the bushing out of the shives by driving the shive on a little farther. You can slip something behind the bushing and the housing of the pto to keep it from sliding the bushing on farther. After the shive slides off the bushing drive a old screw driver or a chisel into the split and spread it. It should slide off. I have never see a bushing break like yours did. I take them off all the time at work. Ron

Is there room for a bearing splitter in back of the pulley?

Jesse about the only option you have is to drill and tap two places 180 degrees apart in the tapered bushing. Careful not to damage the shaft splines in the process. Then insert threaded studs and put a bar across those studs and use nuts on the studs to force the tapered bushing out of the pulley tapered hub. You may want to hit the pulley hub with some heat to encourage it to enlarge and release it's grip on the bushing. Not too much heat or the shaft seals will be damaged. The special splined tapered bushing is now scrap so it will have to be replaced.

Might be stuck a little but it should pull right off the shaft.

Jesse, If I recall, the three bolts hold the cap and bearing inside the right angle belt pulley attachment. If the pulley is on that spline all you need to remove the pulley is the one bolt and washer in the center of that splined shaft. Then slide the pulley off. Thats it!
