I need a pic or a drawing of a govonor off of a super m. We are having problems with the tractor dieing on hills. it will run great down and on the flats but going up it has NO power and ends up dieing. We are having the gas tank boiled out and cleaned but it was not really dirty. we have rebuilt the carb 2 times and then just replaced it. Can anyone help??

Have you checked the air cleaner cup for buildup of dirt or other foreign material? Is there a restriction in the air intake system[ collapsed inner ply on the air hose to the carb? ] possibly? Check for leaks at the manifold to head gasket area with engine oil.Sounds like a fuel starvation problem, though. If it runs rough at all speeds, maybe the valve lash needs to be checked.

It is starved for fuel somewhere if it is not the ignition.

Check for free fuel flow out of each part all the way to the carburetor drain, then rebuild the carburetor.

The carb has been rebuilt 2 times. After that we put a new one on. the fuel is flowing well, sometimes we have fuel leaking out of the carb almost like it is getting too much.. What do you think??

Thanks,
Matt
