Hey guys, I'm working on restoring my grandpa's farmall A. The pistons are stuck in place. I've soaked them for several month, but finally decided that I have to hammer them out. I have the engine block removed from the tractor. I'm now trying to figure out how to remove the clutch and front pully from the engine block. Any good ideas?

Steve, I made a hydraulic puller to remove front pulley from son's SC. I had read and heard all kinds of horror stories about removing the pulley, so I built this one and used porta power, but I have found several hydraulic jacks that will work on their side since I removed the one from SC.

Hope this will help you or give you some ideas on how to remove your pulley.
