H PTO shaft workin' overtime...

Not a problem here folks...but just a question. On my 52 H, even with the PTO disengaged, it still creeps in a clockwise rotation when the clutch is engaged (maybe two revolutions in a minute), with no power behind it...you can stop it"s rotation by just putting anY sort of pressure against it. Is this created by the rear end oil stirring as the transmission input shaft turns? It"s the only thing I can think of.

Curiosity, nothing more.

Billy

Yep, you got it. It will be more noticeable in cold weather.

I figured that was it, but I always like a second opinion. I haven't had it for it's first winter yet...so I'm sure a good Wisconsin winter will tell the tale.

Thanks!

Billy
