Find a good automotive electric place that rebuilds generators and starters. They would probably be able to rebuild that starter in no time. I just had the electric motor that runs the slide-out in and out on my 5th wheen travel trailer go out. The manufacturer wanted $500 + shipping for a new one. I took it to my local auto electric shop and he re-built it for $56. Works like a new one. Hope this helps. Larry

Try your local Case-IH dealer or any good auto parts store.

All the good auto parts stores closed around here!

O'Really's don't have a clue.

He should also try a starter shop.

We've still got N.A.P.A. and the countermen there are very knowledgeable and experienced. They do use computers to look up part numbers, but they still know how to open the big books and look for things there also. They can't always find the part you might be looking for, but they do at least know what you are talking about. O'Reilly's came to town a few years ago and thought they would just take over and run the other guys out. We all tried the new guy in town, but it didn't take too long and we all went back to the guy that knew what he was doing.
