Check the archives. Their have been many postings on this in the last five years or so. Probably the most effective way was lots of heat, then dowse the outside with cold water in hopes that the outer tube will shrink away from the inner tube quicker than the outer and break free.

Allan posted a picture a few days ago of how he did one on one of his tractors. If I remember right he said he had used heat, a few differant oils and still ended up useing 2 tractors to get them to move.

Rich, no sir on the heat, Allan does not like the hot wrench, and has stated so a good many times. Lots of penitrating oil and patience. Hook it between two tractors and pull..:>)

Yes sir, too nice of days to spend to much time in the house. And lots of work to get done. Build fence, dig a few holes with old hoe. Had to replace and re-plumb in new hot water heater in Shawn's house that his mother rents. Fix plugged up hot water lines, install cooler.... Jobs never end. :>(

Still haven't had a chance to fix the hydraulics on 77 yet...But have most everything ready on Shawn's SC for him and his little sister shoot some red paint this week.

Yep know how it goes but I always have time for some computer time even if its late at night. Shoot I have been fighting the hay equipment for at least the last month and its still fighting back. I have to go to my friend farm around 2 to fix the things he broke yesterday and if all goes well he will get there around 3:30 and maybe not brake something again LOL
