I have one that is for parts if you need spare parts for it. I read in my book that they are kind of rare for a Farmall.

As CNKS stated the 6 was built in four versions. The International I-6 and ID-6 was the industrial version. It had a different standard front axle and tires, different options, a foot accelerator, different fenders and platform from W and O versions. The clutch had a brake on it to allow easier shifting and hydraulic brakes were optional. A pintal hitch was also standard on the I. The McCormick W-6 and WD-6 was the wheel or standard version. It had a larger platform and different fenders from the I. It had the regular 5 speed with foot clutch and standard drawbar. The McCormick O-6 and OD-6 were the full Orchard version of the 6. They had a hand clutch and much lower seating position then the I or W. They had streamlined hood top as well as full streamlined fenders covering the engine sides and rear wheels and an optional shield covering the steering wheel. The McCormick OS-6 and OSD-6 were the Orchard Special version of the orchard tractor. They had the same hand clutch, streamlined hood, and low seating of the O tractors but lacked the full shielding covering the engine sides and rear wheels.

Harold, I don't want to sound like the correct police but if you will check I don't believe you will find that there ever was a OD-6 made. There was an ODS-6. I believe that the extra heat from the diesel was considered to be to much to put under the additional tin work of the O-6.

John,

You are probably correct. I have never actually seen a OD-6. I just assumed there was one and you know what that means.

The 6 series came in standard (IH name for wheatland), industrial and orchard versions. They share engines and basic drive trains (different ratios) with the Farmall M. There was also a 6 series power unit that came in stationary versions, and, I believe, equipment such as road graders, etc. There was also a T6 crawler tractor. Models with a D in the designation had a start on gas diesel engine. The O6 and OS6 are the orchard versions. The O6 has the full orchard fenders, your OS 6 does not. Others can fill you in on the details, as I have only seen pictures.
