Is there a source for new brake "housings" or "drums" for a Farmall 200? I believe the part is identical to that on a Super C. I called my local Case IH dealer and was told they are obsolete.

Heywood, where are you located? I have a brake housing that you may want. I"m in Northern Virginia. I just fixed up a 200 and have parts from a 2nd tractor. Have a good day!

I ordered a good used one for my Super H from Bates Corp. 800-248-2955. You might also try Steel Wheel Ranch, 785-548-7437.

Old ones go through on ebay occasionally. I've seen them and I'm not even looking for them.

Good luck,
Bill

So you know the answer to your question then: No.

You are "stuck" using salvage parts. There are plenty of Super C carcasses out there, so finding a serviceable brake housing should be a piece of cake. Just open your yellow pages and look up the local tractor salvage yard.

I think you'll find there are suitable salvage parts available.
