3 point hitch on super H

I have installed a 3 point hitch with two double acting cyl"s.
I ran hoses to each cyl. from both front hydraulic ports, so the cyl"s will lift.
The problem is there is no fluid on the other end of the cyl. ram and the mover deck rock"s up and down on either side.
Am I missing something? Other than brains

There is probably air in the cylinders. Take them off in a way that allows the ports on the cylinders to be higher than the rest or the cylinder. with the lever in the lower (pushed in past the little stop) position, push the rams in till they are in all the way. Then (with all things clear) raise the lever filling the cylinders to full extension. Then lower again and push the cylinders to short again. Repeat several times. This purges the air out of the cylinders, and allows oil to fill the space under the piston. (do not get near the rams when extending them!!!)

If there is not enough fluid in the resivoir, keep filling it as bleeding progresses. The upper side of the cylinders should have a mini air cleaner on them to prevent junk from entering. They can also be used for reserve fluid if connected to the drain of the belly pump, or the top of the filler with a "T". Good luck, just my idea of the problem. JimN

Of course there's air in the cylinders... He's got them hooked up as one-way cylinders, and there will always be air in the tops of the cylinders.

I believe the problem is that because the cylinders are only hooked up as one-way, they tend to "float" upwards when the implement is on uneven ground. There's no down pressure.

The only solution is to hook them up as two-way cylinders. To do this, a two-way spool valve is required.
