I WAS REMOVING THE HEAD ON MY 666 TO REPLACE THE GASKET. I TWISTED OFF THE CAPILARY TUBE WIRE TO THE TEMP GAUGE. IS THERE ANY TO FIX THE TEMP GAUGE RATHER THAN REPLACE IT? THANKS FOR THE HELP.

Always use two wrenches to remove and install these units. The outer nut is the one that is supposed to be turned. The one near the head or block is to be held stationary. This avoids twisting the capillary tube.

Nope...the expansion bulb, capillary tube & gauge movement all come as a sealed unit. Time for a new one.
