After cleaning parts for several weeks, I have then hanging all around the shop on hangers from the purlins, they got some action today. Contrary to the Cowman's thinking, when I read on the can that the primer gives "twice" the rust protection if applied before the rustolian magic formula paint, I decided to get a quart and see. So, as I said, I got a mask and hit about 35 pieces with primner. The directions are to let this dry for 24 hours before adding the color. So, Mr. Cowman, we will see tomorrow if your magic formula is beautiful! :-)

I use rustoleum om little parts all the time with good results. So, you should have no problems.

Hey, that's great. You go right ahead and use that Rustoleum...go the extra distance and knock yourself out using that marvelous Rustoleum primer. For comparison purposes do yourself a favor and "hit" a few pieces with some watered down milk, call it "finished" and compare the results. I suspect you'll wish you had used the watered down milk to paint your project in totality as opposed to having Rustoleum into the same building as your tractor. You'll get better results.
