Hi Steven, I saw a post the other day and you had used the Steven@ ND, are you home for the summer or was that force of habit? My son Ryan has three more days, is finished Friday for the year. He asked some of the staff to our cottage on Thurs, so I'm going up to see everyone, many of the younger teachers were just starting and had been there only a year or two when I retired, will be good to see them. Enjoy your summer and get recharged, those who don't teach don't know the stress and the way the year can wear you down when dealing with children. Give me a shout anytime....Mike in Exeter Ontario

Yep, home for the (brief) summer. Been home since the 17th and will be leaving about the 23rd of July.

Just about done with the haying for the year. Have about 180 acres done and about 400 bales -- an average year for us. Unfortunately the wheat crop is drying up every day, we need an inch of rain ASAP to save it. No rain in the forecast though. Last year the crop was hailed out...

Had my blood pressure checked today at the dentist. I don't remember the numbers, but the hygienist said it was really good.

Getting re-charged for another year and we are taking my mom (20 year vet of teaching) back with us to AZ to help us get started again. Working the land and being out in the fresh air sure does me good!

Take care!
