I changed the hydraulic hoses on the right side of the tractor and refilled the reservoir and now the hydraulics do not work. It worked for 2 or 3 times now the snow plow or garden plow will lift or move. What could cause this and how do i fix the problem?

when refilling, remove the fill cap, start the tractor, speed the engine up alittle, and move your control levers back and forth 10 to 15 times, recheck fluid level.Doing this, the air can escape out the fill hole. When full, your fluid should be 1" below fill hole.It will take a couple times doing this to get all the air out and your fluid level correct.

Mike: Can you be a bit more specific on which hoses and what are their purpose? Not all Super C tractors have the same hydraulic plumbing. Does this tractor have fast hitch? You mention snow blade, how is that raised? Is it a loader mount blade or a front frame mount blade?

the snow plow is a front frame plow blade that comes with the super C. Yes it has a fast hitch. Not any of the hydraulics work. the two hoses go from infront of the seat to the the right side of the resrvoir. All the control links are also on that side . One single one for the back fast hitch and a set of two together for the front snow plow and probably a grader or culivators.

Mike: I'm not saying I'm going to have your answer, but our discussion may tweek someone else's brain.

The two hydraulic hoses you replaced supply oil from control valve to fast hitch lift cylinder, right or wrong? Could this be a case of loosing enough oil when changing hoses, you have drained resovoir refilling the system? Do the rockshafts on the touch control work properly? What is the oil level in your resovoir?

The two hoses do controll the fast hitch by the single lever. The touch control levers work right as well as the fast hitch lever. I have not drained the reseroir or cleaned the strainer and the level was really low so i filled it up . I even tryed to switch the fast hitch hoses around that i replaced. the level now is full of oil, so maybe i should drain claen and refill for air and dirt.

Mike: Take Brian's advice, when you had those hoses off this allowed air into the system. Air doesn't always come out quickly. The other thing you may try is backing off those hoses you replaced to allow any trapped air to escape right where it entered. Do this with tractor running and try the fast hitch control at same time.

One item you haven't told us is how control valve for front blade is plumbed into the system. Short of quite detailed photos that could be quite hard to describe. I've seen some quite different plumbing nightmares on these tractors, namely, C, SC and 200.
