2 Point Hitch Cylinder Problem

I have a Super C with fast hitch. The drawbar will not stay up when the tractor is idle. I ordered a rebuild kit, installed it, but it did not correct the problem. It did take care of the leak.
What's up with this?
Thanks for any advice.

If your hydraulic cylinder is good, then the leak down is being allowed by the check valve in front of the seat box.

There isn't much to it; maybe just take it apart and clean it up. Just diagram the hose routing before you remove it.

Good luck,
Bill

Is the check valve in the block between the control valve and cylinder leaking down?

Did you rebuild the cylinder or the control valve. I believe both can cause settling.

Rebuilt cylinder & put new seal in control valve.
