date code T on an H?

Wandering what year T is on an H? I thought my tractor was a 51 but i never knew bout the date codes, i think it was either 50 or 51 acording to the serial number but recently an IH collector told me i was wrong.

What is the serial number? You can look it up on the serial numbers link to the left of this page, and KNOW whether it's a 1950, 1951, or some other year.

Depending on when it was assembled a 51 can have T, U, and/or W on it. A 1950 can have S and T codes. This assumes that the castings are original. 1950 chassis serials are 327975-351922, 1951's are 351923-375860.
