My 1952 "H" has the metal side belt pulley. (Original)
It (the pulley) hasn"t been used in 30 or 40 years and when I turn it by hand it sounds as if there is a bad bearing in it. Where can I get the parts manual that will tell me what the bearings are?

If you are not going to use the belt pulley for anything dont worry about it. If you are going to power something with it then i would replace the bearings.

They are common bearings; #203, 204, 205, 207 (forgot the exact number). Take it apart & go to NAPA or even find a used one at an electric motor repair shop. The ones they replace on a rebuild work well when lubed with gear oil. Remove the side shields, check them over, & use the best ones. I have gotten them for no cost or scrap iron price.
With a pulley that is used 1-2 times a year at a show the investment is just right.

Several sources for all kinds of manuals are available. The best manuals for the price in my opinion are available at Binderbooks dot com.
