1958 international cub lo boy dip stick

i have a 1958 cub lo boy that is missing the dip stick to check oil, has a tube that measures 8" and assume in the block 1" making it a total of 9" long,would the dip stick from a 1962 cub lo boy be the same stick if has a tube 9" long? and or could some one tell me what the length of stick is suppose to be ? thanks jim

There were only 2 different dipsticks. All the long ones are the same and all the short ones were the same. The one from the lo-boy will work.

Jim I went out to the barn and pulled the stick out of a red 51 cub. I put a wire up in the cap to where the cap would sit on the tube that is in the engine block. the stick is 10 1/2". From up inside the cap to the full mark is 7". From the full mark down to the add mark is 1 3/4". If you have any more questions you can call 989 292 0644, or e-mail hope this helps Bill
