Does anyone know where I can buy some realistically priced bolts to mount the wheel weights on my Farmall C? I called the local dealer and he wanted $8.56 per bolt. I wanted the square head bolt but I may have to settle for hex.

I think the Rural King store has some square-head bolts. Idk if you have one of those close by or not.

Their phone number is 410-687-8831 or you can fax them at 410-687-0071. Hal

Your IH dealer is just about the only place where you will find the correct 4 1/2" length bolts. A 4" bolt is too short, and a 5" bolt is not threaded down far enough. Hex head bolts will work just fine. The price you mentioned does seem high, but you only need to buy them once.

Try Fastenal, I"ve gotten several square headed bolts from them, and they seemed reasonably priced. Mark
