I have a 450 with ipto and a broken bolt where the ipto sheild goes on. Can the cover just come off or is their parts to take off before? What about putting back together?
Thanks for the help.

It would, if they wouldn't have broken two bolts off. I was able to use my easyouts to get one. But the other does not want to come out that easy. Also I broke my easy out in it, so I need to pull the cover off. Just would like to know what is involved in doing so.
Thanks

Our 450 has the shield held on by 3 nuts [2 on the sides & 1 on the top] inside the shield. If I remember correctly, you only need to loosen the nuts & pull up on the shield. It should have slotted mounting tabs.
