I have noticed the difference in mounting attachments between the final drives on my A and Super A. The Super has the threaded studs mounted in the final drives and the A just has the tapped holes. My question is this something that IH did when going from one model to the next? I have noticed that the sickle mower 16A that I have for my A has the holes in the frame that mounts between the final drives where the Super A has the slots in the drawbar to allow it to slip over the threaded studs. Is this what they did on other implements also? Thanks for your thoughts. Oh bt the way Hugh, Im still planning on getting that grill assembly for the Super sometime this summer!

Yes the rear mounts were different from SA to A which means when mounting the imps you would have to make corrections but the important thing is the distance from side to side is the same. But you must remember the hy rockshaft on the SA means you would also have to change lifting devices for the implement.
