My super M as best as I can tell is leaking from the water pump. It is leaking down the fan blades to the ground. Can these pumps be rebuilt easily or should a guy replace with new or rebuilt water pump. Thanks for the advice.

Greasing should help. Also the packing nut can be tightened to slow down a leak at the impeller shaft most of the time. The pumps are not hard to rebuild. Bearings, seals, packing etc. was still available through CaseIH dealers the last time I did one.

Does the water pump have 2 grease fittings on the left [carburetor] side of the engine? If it does , try greasing 2 to3 shots of grease to see if that helps before tearing the pump apart.
