I started to do the first lubing on My 41 Model A. The first grease point the manual says is the steering knuckle post. I put grease to it and I found out the post has a hair line crack right at the grease zerk. As far as I can tell it goes about a inch both ways. Can this be welded? Ron

Go to a GOOD weld shop in your area and ask. Most problems can be fixed. I wonder how it got cracked in the first place? Dave.
