Well I now have 3 Hs but the problem is I only have 1 starter for the 3 of them. Will a starter from a B work?? I know I could just give it a try but would prefer to know if it will or will not, please help.
Thanks

Translation of the responses below:

The B starter isn't as strong as the H starter because it's designed to turn over a smaller engine. It will probably bolt up, and may work, but probably won't last long due to the motor being overloaded.

An H has four field windings,I believe a B has only two.

If you have a parts manual for both tractors you could look up the part numbers and see if they are the same, or place both starters side by side and compare. That's how I would do it.
