I am giving this one last shot, and if nothing works it will have to stay as is until I can afford whatever it takes at a shop.
The loader is the most visable sign the hyd are weak. 350 PSI at 3/4 RPM, and 850 PSI at full throtle (measured at the safety valve and other controls, all measure the same).
I have: Rebuilt all cylinders and rams. Taken cover off reservoir (two times), installed filter instide. Cleaned filter on top of cover. Checked all lines to/from pump, clean. Had safety valve apart (several times) new O rings and spring, Had all other controls off several times, new O rings, gaskets. Had pump off and apart, dealer looked at and said he thought it looked fine, new O rings, spring. Now, gotten totally frustrated. Any and all thoughts on what the problem could be are welcome. Thank You for reading!

MY FRIEND HAS A '63 IH UTILITY 300. AN 0-RING IN THE ADD-0N HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILED. THE 0-RING IS APPARENTLY NORMAL, EXCEPT THE BODY OF THE RING IS SQUARE. THE RING IS ABOUT 3/4". DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHERE WE MIGHT GET A NEW 0-RING?

I WILL TAKE A LOOK AT THE TRACTOR THIS AFTERNOON AND MAYBE I CAN GET A NAME ETC. FOR THE PUMP.

THANKS,

I think that putting a new /rebuilt pump on it is likely to be the only solution.

Hello, I have a 350 U and the psi I think is supposed to be 1200, mine isn't. I have aux. outlets in the back of mine and put a gauge on there and it showed 800 psi so I thought that maybe I was loosing something through the valves I knew the cyl. is ok. I got some fittings togather and connected into the psi line close the the pump where I could temporarily dead head (close off ) the psi side of the pump and look at the gauge. Made no difference I had the same psi. Pump is tired maybe used too much when new. Have a good one. Mark

Have the dealer put a flow meter on the pump to check flow and pressure. Only way to be sure that gpm and psi are adequate.
