Thanks for the help with the fan belt question! Now, what can I look forward to if I want to change the oil pressure gauge? Thanks, Eben

Unless you get one that reads pounds like 10-40 a new one like original will probably read the same as the one you now have.

The oil pressure gauge just screws into the block below the oil filter mount. Unless you try to do it with the engine running, it should be pretty straightforward.

What can you look forward to? A functioning oil pressure gauge! :)

Really, it's straightforward and simple: Unscrew the old gauge, screw in the new one. It may be tight, and if the old gauge doesn't have a hex on the back for a wrench, you'll need to use a strap wrench on the gauge body. On the older gauges, there are two holes in the back that one of those "spanner" style wrenches for angle grinders should fit into. Worst case, destroy the old gauge until you get down to something you can grab on to with a pair of vice grips.
