I am an Aircraft Electrician by trade and I am mechanically inclined. If you read the thread you have noticed that I was looking for info on how to take it a part. I don't have sufficient literature to take the brakes/bull gears out. If you could help me out it would be appreciated.

maybe i am wrong, but i took 44M as 44 massey and to me it is straight forward and simple machine.i replaced these seals over 30 years ago at17 on my uncles tractor.all you have to do is remove brake cover, brakes, brake pulley , then you will come to the seal which holds out diff oil from leaking into brakes,i call these pinion seals.you dont have to get into any bullgears or anything else.i hope were on the same page and this helps you out.you dont need a book to do this. just set up both brakes the same after. probably have to replace the brake bands also.
