Lately I have had a problem breaking off tip cleaners in otherwise good tips. Anyone got an idea on how to get them out if they are broke off flush with the end of the tip??? Would the small piece of steal burn out by using another tip before the brass would melt?? What number tip to you guys like for general tractor related work?? Thanks

Andy gave you good advise. REmove the tip and using the largest tip cleaner you can get in that moves freely. Push the broken part out. That is hoping that there isn't a nasty slag googer in that hole that caused the cleaner to break in the first place. As to tip size an 0 or a #1 are usually good sizes for general cutting work. From 1/8th inch up to 1/2 inch thick or so. This too depends on your skill at handling the torch, and setting the temperature of the flame. I hope this is helpfull info. Tallperson

If they are not stuck too bad I have taken the tip out of the torch and randomly poked from the back with a similar size tip cleaner forcing them back out the front. It may take multiple pokes to get it started moving outward.
