On Wed a 3 year old girl was injured and later died in hospital from her injuries. Her dad was putting new knives on the haybine inside the shop at the dairy farm where he works. The 4 kids were with him. One of the little kids was in the 5288 (not running) and took it out of park, it started to roll out of the shop, the dad grabbed the 2 kids that were with him and got them out of the way, the little girl followed them but got caught inbetween the haybine and wall of the shed. She was air lifted to the hospital. The owner of the farm was in holland visting his sick mother, he flies in on saturday. My brother and i went yesterday to bed the cows and mix up some feed, Dad and another guy are sharing the milkings. Please keep both family"s in your prayers.

What a sad way to come to the realization that the tractors wheels should be blocked if there is any possibility it could roll away.Rubber wheel chocks are less than $20,someone's life cant be quantified...

Mitch, that is very sad, it does bother me to hear about something so sad. I will remember this little girl in my prayers. An accident like that should never happen, little children shouldn't be in the shop but I'm sure it is evident now to all involved. You folks are great to help out as you are. take care ..Mike in Exeter Ontario
