Have any of you ordered any parts from Dennys carb shop. I receieved a tubular manifold from them that was not welded right. It"s two pieces and the flanges are crooked. Icalled them and they would not pay for me to ship them back the part, that is bad business. They told me to either modify it, which I shouldn"t have to do on a $275 item, or send it back and pay for not only shipping to them, but to have a new one shipped to me. Thats three charges for shipping. I will not buy anything from them again. Just thought you all should know.

I have YET to hear anything good about Dennys. I think they "roll the dice" to get the stated Horsepower numbers. I also have been told that every morning when they open up , they all get in line and take a handfull of A$$hole pills. I had a buddy who HAD to have something from them , and he was ready to drive there from NH to "Straighten em Out" after he was done getting frustrated by the Woman that answeres the phone there. I wont use them for anything.

The best way to fight that guy is to spread the word, both through these forums and by word of mouth.

That is very bad business. I'd call again, try to talk to someone besides a sales person. If you still can't get any help let us know.

I just talked to the owner of Denny's. Not only do I have to pay for the shipping but I can't even get a refund. So if the replacements they send me don't work I'd have to keep paying for shipping until one does work. It will be better for me to bust out the welder and fix it myself. Denny's carbshop will never get money from again!!!

You are luckey you didn"t talk to Denny"s wife, maybe thats why Denny is a crook, fights with his wife all the time .He took me once ,never again.

That was who I talked to in reply to supermpuller, 05-25-2006 13:14:04
She thought she could out cus a Sailor, I've been on active duty for 16 years. Boy was she wrong. I even managed to get in the last word. Unfortunately they still got my money. I'll never use COD with certified checked again. If it was my Visa I'd be getting my money back.
