As noted in the previous post, I had to remove the hydraulic cylinder from my 400"s fast hitch. I started to rebuild it only to find a crack in the tube, as well as a small bend in the shaft.. So my question to you guys is, what is the best replacement option? I was curious as to a good affordable cylinder. Where can I buy one and what model do I need to get.

There is no such thing as a "good affordable cylinder." Good cylinders ain't cheap, and cheap cylinders (if such a thing exists) ain't good. There are sites on the net that like to claim that they're discount hydraulics houses, but they're a couple dollars cheaper, if that. Add shipping back on and you may as well buy local.

The important measurements you need are the piston diameter, the distance between the pin centers when the cylinder is retracted, and the length of the stroke. Go shopping. Cylinders are designated by piston diameter and length of stroke, but the "closed length" can vary. Some cylinders are adjustable in this respect.
