I'm redoing my W4 after a mere 33 years of ownership and hard work.

I am looking at the circle decal "W4" and I notice 2 different versions. One shows white lettering with a black outline on a clear inner circle. The other shows red lettering with the inner circle white.
Will the real W4 decal please stand up! Can anyone help! (we're talking a 1942 version)

Note the word "SUPER" written across the top of the circle in red lettering.

SUPER W4

The word "Super" doesn't indicate how you feel about the tractor. It indicates a newer model that replaced the W4.

The red and white one belongs on the Super Series. Very common for someone to create a Super by changing the decal, particularly after putting increased power pistons in the tractor. More to it than that. Yours gets the white lettering. Super W4 production began in 1953.
