I am currently restoring a super H And was wondering what the difference is with the engines??? I assume pistons is the difference??? The only thing i got with the Super H was the block...I was wondering....Can i use the crank, rods, pistons head Etc. from my parts H on the Super H block?? Or is there something different??? A buddy of mine has a brand new rebuild kit for a H he was going to fix up and he says he will sell it to me cheap So i was just wondering if i could use all the regular H parts on my super H block....

Thank you

Yes, it will bolt right in.

If you have, or want, live hydraulics, you either need to be rebuilding an engine out of a 1950 or newer H, or you need to use the timing gears and front cover for a 1950 or newer H or Super H.

It will still bolt right in with the old style front cover, though.

As long as you have bearings to fit the size crank your using ( 2 size standard journals were used)everything will work except H pistons and sleeves won't fit SH block.
