I was offered sight unseen to H farmalls today for $600.00, (delivered) and they were described as follows:

1. Unit one has a cracked block but good transmission.

2. Unit two has a good engine but a bad transmission.

Both have 70% tires. Sheet metal is all there.

I was wondering whether I should jump on this or not...my inclination is yes.

Reminds me of my 41 M.Old guy got confused on what was wrong with which tractor. We tore down a perfectly good M,which only needed a clutch,to rebuild one that had a cracked block and busted 3rd gear.I learned my lesson!

Usually that kind of money buys you 1 H Farmall with a cracked block and bad transmission... but you don't know it until you get the engine running.

JUMP ON THAT DEAL!

Shoot if the rear tires are that good you could brake even just by selling them. In my area you can't find a good used tire thats the right size to fit an H or any other tractor that uses that size tire

If you decline, I can send you directions to the delivery person to my place. Sounds like a great offer to me. I don't see how you could go wrong.
