I have a book thats about the prototype Farmall's. They show some weird stuff that never flew very far from the draft board and stuff that shows the development to what we know today. The name of the book is blank to me and I don't have it here to look but maybe somebody else knows it.

The Farmall was the first true all purpose row-crop and they were so weird that IH only sold them as an expeirment the first year. Like the off-set A and B that eveybody tried to copy. And the Hydros that the competition NEVER had. Yeah IH made some odd stuff, but oddly enough it worked and kept them on the cutting edge for a long time. But as the Bible says, "Time and chance happens to them all"

I know it wasn't available for sale but the gas turbine tractor might fit this bill.

As to unusual stuff the Electrall attachment might fit this bill.

WD 40 which was their earliest diesal. Not sure of my model here.

I'm sure there is something I am missing
