I've seen group 1 6 Volt batteries for sale at the following auto parts stores:

NAPA
Auto Zone
Advance Auto Parts/Checker/Shucks/Kragen/Murray's
Parts Plus
Car Quest

Tractor Supply in Tomball, just north of Houston has Grp. 1 batteries. You might give a call @ (281)357 0000. This would be the size battery if your tractor is still 6 volt.

Find your local Interstate battery dealer and tell them you need a group 1 six volt battery. That is the OEM size battery for that tractor. In my opinion, with all the tractors we own and operate, and all of the batteries I have sold, Interstate is the best.

I bought one for my C at Atwoods, there may not be one there, I'm in northeast tx. I checked with Tractor supply and a couple auto parts stores and they all had them, I found Atwoods cheaper. Just go in with your measurments and where the respective posts are located.
