Did they ever have them? Mine has 2 holes on the front part of the left fender that look like there may have been one mounted there once, but it would be in my way there since my loader controls are on a platform on the right of the hood and they block the right step.

Hi Strick,

I had a heck of a time with that one too. :>(

Goes under the right side of the platform.

The 656 had a factory tool box that was above the clutch housing on the left side (at least the 656 gas had it there). The 826 etc had the tool box on right side under the right hand battery. Only the mounting brackets could differ. I have two of these tool boxes in my shop but I think their brackets are the 656 style.

Our 686 had a factory toolbox, it was mounted underneath the right side of the platform. I would imagine 666 would be the same. Of course, you can get an aftermarket toolbox and mount it anywhere you want. The inside of a fender is a good place, also see alot of them mounted to the frame rails.
