I recently purchased a International Farmal tractor and was told by the seller that it was a Super C. I wanted to confirm this and in searching the websites for serial #s, I have not been able to do so. The Serial number taken of the right side of the seat box is 61216 with an additional number right below of 1815. I love this old tractor and want to purchase the correct operation/maintenance manuals. Any help would be appreciated.

thank you, bill

Super and non super both start with FC-.

You have a regular C.

Super C would have six didgts in serial number.

apparently you have a regular C not a Super C. The serial number fits a 1950. Also, on the serial tag on my Super C's is the stamped letters "SC" after the serial no. If that is no there, then you know the story.

What do you mean, "have not been able to do so?"

If you click on the "Serial Numbers" link to the left, click on "Farmall," click on "Super C," you'll find that the first Super C serial number is 100,000. 61216 < 100,000, therefore it cannot possibly be a Super C.

Back up 1 page, then click on "C." You'll find that 61216 is between 47010 and 71880, therefore you have a 1950 C.

It is NOT a Super C.

1815 is the maximum no-load RPM.
