During the production run of the Super A, 100, 130, and 140 Internationals. There were several lift pumps which were used to my knowledge. The Pesco, Thompson, Cessna and Wooster. With Wooster being the last one used I think. Of these does anyone know which was considered the best and had the highest volume of GPM and hence higher lift capacity. Did they upgrade the pumps through the production run because some were improvements. Would the later model 140's have received a pump which had a higher gpm rate than say a 100 or super A. However a pump off of one of these would fit a later model 140 but if had a lower gpm rate with volume pumped being lower the lift might not be quite as strong. Am I correct in my thinking ... Thanks

Mr MacKay, Thanks for your help. I have found by reading your post concerning Super A- 140 you always know what you talking about. This lift has given me a fit but I hope I am beginning to see some light and about have it straightened out...

Avery: Your thinking is not right, gpm will not change the lift capacity, it only changes speed. Presure change only, will affect lift capacity.

I've never kept track of all those pumps, however I can remember all these tractors when they were new. I don't recall ever hearing of any rating other than 4.5 gpm.
