A frind has a 806 and changed the hyd filter and now it has no stearing. How do you blead it. The 2 point pulls the moter down when you pull the lever.

I installed a new 3 pt lift pump on a 706 lately and I had the same problem,no steering. I had to remove the orffice behind a plug{5/8"wrench size}on the back side of the MCV,cranked it over untill oil came out and replaced everything and then I had steering again.

Make sure that the hyd. oil is up to the full mark on the dip stick with the engine off ( NEVER PULL THE DIP STICK OUT AND TRY AND PUT IT BACK IN RUNNING AS IT CAN GET INTO THE GEARS OF THE RANGE TRANSMISSION) . Run the engine at around 2000 RPM and turn the steering wheel to the left and keep turning it , this should bleen the air out of the MCV . It also could be that the MCV hyd. pump is getting weak and has a problem of self priming . If it does not pick up prime this way then post back and i"ll give ya another idea.
