hey every body I got wd9 I bought and am trying to figure out the problem I am having when I start it up on the gas cycle it runs real rough and lots of dark brown soke when I throw the lever to run on diesel she revs to the moon to beat hellno throttle control at all this is my first diesel so any in formation would be greatly appreciated I would thinck it shouldn't smoke on the gas cycle is something in the govener come apart or is thr hole ip junk

I've got the I&T manual and was wondering about that is it a real pita to do the pump with unknown filter condition is on the good side of the gauge by about 1/16 toa 1/8 inch got new filters to put in it I don't know much about thes old motors but would like to learn thanks

You need to get a manual and do a linkage adjustment.
