Has anyone replaced the points with electronic module on 1955-56 300 utility? Just wondering what kit to get?

Found a lower price source for electronic ignition kit k2543. qkits.com $16.95 +ship. My Farmall H running for 4 years with this kit modified for 6 volts. Ford 601 5 years on 12 volt version of same kit. Search web "kit k2543" for lots of info and skill level for assembly.

Another choice for those on fixed income is an electronic ignition kit. $20 plus shipping and 30 minutes to assemble, understand that everyone can't assemble it but most can. This system is similar to early cars that retained the points but reduced amperage thereby points last. The spark is unbelievable hot with original coil. Only internal modification is remove or disconnect condenser. Instructions are good. Ck. www.hobbytron.com search k2543

Had problems with mine until I put a coil on that is compatible with the electronic ignition. Good luck. Marv
